Local Matters

Meals on Wheels Tweed supports the local community by delivering meals to isolated and vulnerable older members of our community. As an organisation heavily invested in the Tweed community we also provide social outings to relieve loneliness.
Recent requests for supports have included items such as therapeutic and educational equipment, therapy-specific swimming lessons, specialist appt funding gaps, orthopaedics, specialised bike trailers, tutorial support and therapeutic horse riding.
This donation will allow us to continue to provide support, friendship, understanding and information to individuals affected by Parkinson's, their carer's and families.
