Raise is Australia’s leading one-to-one youth mentoring charity. Our mentoring program is running at NBSC Balgowlah Boys Campus and is proven to change the trajectory of young people’s lives for the better, building resilience, hope for the future, help-seeking skills and engagement with education.
Teenage years can be difficult and confusing. Streetwork acts as the circuit-breaker to this negative cycle, using and innovative early intervention and assertive outreach programs to engage and inspire the vulnerable young people we support .
We empower through education so every child can stay in school. In East Africa, we improve teaching and infrastructure, while tackling barriers through family support, youth development, women’s empowerment, and health—breaking the cycle of poverty.
